Donate in memory

Losing a loved one is never easy. There is a lot to think about at a time when you are grieving. Whilst you may not be able to bring together extended family and friends to celebrate the life of your loved one, there are other ways you can come together to honour their memory.

We understand that supporting a cause in memory of someone who has died is very personal to each individual. Whether your loved one wants to support a certain charity in their memory or if a certain organisation supported them in their final days and you would like to acknowledge this by raising funds, our team are more than happy to help you with this.

There are many ways you can support a charity in memory of a loved one – the easiest way to make sure the funds reach them is by setting up a Tribute Fund or an In Memory fundraising page.

Just because you are using St Margaret’s Funerals does not mean that donations have to be made to the hospice. If you would like to donate to another charity, there are options you can choose from, including MuchLoved or JustGiving.

Donating to St Margaret’s Hospice Care in memory of a loved one

St Margaret’s Funerals is an extension of the care that St Margaret’s Hospice Care offers. If you would like to give to the hospice in memory of a loved one you can set up a ‘Remembered with Love’ Tribute Fund in their memory on their website.

A ‘Remembered with love’ Tribute Fund is easy to set up and can be personalised with photos and life events of your loved one. You, your family and friends may start adding to your Tribute Fund through a funeral collection or one-off donation in memory of your loved one. Your Tribute Fund will be there as long as you like, meaning you can continue to contribute by lighting a candle on special occasions like your loved ones' birthday or adding sponsorship from a St Margaret’s event you’ve taken part in in memory of them.
